The article states the field was used for B-34 transition training because it was near the Consolidated plant. Doubtful on many grounds, starting with the manufacturer of the B-34 being Lockheed. I presume this is a typo. -- Lineagegeek ( talk) 19:58, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
Re-established as a separate article away from the current Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth article 20:22, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

At some point, I'd recommend adding content about the September 1, 1952 tornado that damaged some 70 B-36 bombers. It's not worth my time at present. Chris Troutman ( talk) 16:56, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
