Oppose That may be so, but there is a disambiguation page at
Carl Jacobi, admitedly with only two items on it. The proposal needs to suggest what happens to that page also.

Other could retain full name. Then no need for disamb page. Other middle name headings have been changed at my request in the past.

There are more than a few pages like this throughout Wikipedia where the person starting the page puts an unnecessary middle name in the heading, thereby creating confusion.
