Cardinal Aloísio Lorscheider was not an elector during 2007 consistory (he turned 80 on 8 October 2004), so his death on 23 December 2007 could not decrease the number of electors to 120. There were rather 120 cardinal electors, because 1 cardinal elector (Stephen Fumio Hamao) died on 8 November 2007, between announcement and consistory.
