Synthesis

The last step does not need sodium metal but only sodium hydroxide. The thiol is acidic enough to form a salt with NaOH. Further, metallic sodium would cleave the thio ether, I guess. -- FK1954 ( talk) 13:01, 4 April 2018 (UTC) reply
