20 Jan: Added airport frame, including all numerical data. TydeNet
The established guideline is quite clear in that images should be thumb-sized. Besides, all destinations served are already listed in the tables, so adding a map is effectively redundant information (albeit pretty-looking). I honestly see no reason for the image to be sized any larger than the standard thumb.
Does anyone know what the airport is called in Xhosa? It would probably be appropriate to have the Xhosa name along with the Afrikaans. - htonl ( talk) 09:12, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
I'm strongly inclined to remove this section, my reasons being:
My feeling is: remove the section entirely. I suppose that it may be worth a mention as a single paragraph in an existing section (assuming there is a reliable source out there that I haven't found yet), but nothing more. Also, flights can be temporarily added to "Airlines and destinations" when they operate, which surely is good enough. I'm not going to make this change without consensus though. The renaming of the Cape Town International Airport is a contentious issue at the moment. I corrected the naming to Cape Town International Airport as the status has not been legally changed. An unregistered user with the IP address of 197.215.163.54 is continuously altering the page with wrong information. Can an admin please semi-protect this page and ban the unregistered user. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cozinsky ( talk • contribs) 10:26, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
Cozinsky I agree. I added the bit in February 2019 regarding the name change after noticing how often the name was changed, hoping to put the issue to rest. It didn't work. Wyatt Tyrone Smith ( talk) 10:49, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
