I got here from Ultrabattery which used to link to Electric double-layer capacitor, but itself had a circular link. I then realised that this article has more information on UltraBatteries, changed the redirection here instead.
The next bit of delving (a web search) gave no obvious hits for Capa vehicle (outwith Wikipedia) for capacitor based vehicles, as opposed to Certified Automotive Parts Association vehicles. So I wondered if the term was made up ( WP:MADEUP).
I suspect that it was, and that checking the edit history, it was moved soon after creation from Capabus, which appears to be a trade name. Further delving, and I note that it was changed from a redirect by Nopetro ( talk · contribs), who did most of the editing, along with Nudecline ( talk · contribs), both of whom are blocked along with Mac ( talk · contribs) (who created the Ultrabattery and UltraBattery redirect pages) -- see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mac/Archive.
So I saw there were easily enough problems with the article for a {{
multiple issues}}
tag, but I found it difficult to narrow down the areas to a handful. I'm sure there's something useful here, but it can probably be merged with
electric vehicle.

23:51, 23 March 2011 (UTC)I did not verify the whole article, but the subject exists and is most certainly not a hoax. Please use cleanup tags only where there they are needed; we could tag all of Wikipedia with "expert", "cleanup", and of course "incomplete" (and we would be correct for most articles), but that does not mean we should.
Most examples described in this article are actually hybrids that store energy when braking and use it later for acceleration (per the article intro: "uses supercapacitors (also called ultracapacitors) to store electricity"). These examples could conceivably be merged into hybrid electric vehicle, whereas the Capabus could be merged into electric vehicle. Considering, among other things, the lengths of these articles, I'd prefer keeping a separate article on the use of capacitors for driving vehicles. As for the name, "Capa vehicle" does not seem to be an established term, so a descriptive title would arguably be a better choice. Rl ( talk) 09:20, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
"Capa vehicle" is a horrible neologism not used outside Wikipedia - would Electric double-layer capacitor vehicle or Ultracapacitor vehicle be better? Fences& Windows 07:21, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
