The majority of extant melodies come from CSM. But there are only 400+ of them against about 1685 secular cantigas (nearly all without music). The information as it is stated i simply false. Also, there is absolutely no basis for distinguishing between a "decir" and a cantiga. In all of medieval GP lyric there is not one reference to a "decir" as a kind of poem. —Preceding
