  • The lead is on the long side given the article's length
 Fixed I believe ...a few sentences removed. Moxy🍁 06:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • "for the common good of all the world's nations and not just its allies". When referring to countries or nations, referring to the world is redundant
 Fixed Moxy🍁 06:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • "approximately 130 Canadians having given their lives" - see MOS:EUPH. Ditto "loss of life"

Er, looks like this is still there? Nikkimaria ( talk) 04:15, 20 March 2024 (UTC) reply
sorry my bad.... I think it was there twice or I copying and pasted it back over. Moxy🍁 05:09, 20 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • "Approximately 130 Canadians having given their lives during peacekeeping operations (123 in UN missions)." - not a complete sentence. The article would benefit from a thorough copy-editing
 Fixed Moxy🍁 06:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • "Military observers, commanded by Lieutenant-General E.L.M. Burns". Given that the listing is from 1948 to present, this is potentially confusing - suggest clarifying, and doing the same for other similar entries.
minus Removed..having reasl trouble finding all commanders...some say 7 some say 10 others say 11...so will simply let sources cover this by each mission. Moxy🍁 06:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • Not a big fan of the organization of the article - the lead section is meant to serve as an overview, so having a separate Overview section doesn't make a lot of sense. One possible division would be History, Operations, and Recognition.
 Fixed I believe Moxy🍁 06:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • "being looked upon to find a solution" - why?
 Fixed..reworded Moxy🍁 06:15, 19 March 2024 (UTC) reply
  • The only significant controversy mentioned is Somalia. The article would be more balanced with discussion of other controversies, such as Rwanda, or critiques of its general approach

I think the main remaining issue here is article structure - the organization remains a bit unclear for me. For example, how is the material being divided into Peace operations vs Participation - what goes in one section and what goes in the other? Nikkimaria ( talk) 00:22, 21 March 2024 (UTC) reply

I invite you or anyone to edit the structure that best serves our readers. Should we merger the sections?...i am up to whatever you think is best. Moxy🍁 00:35, 21 March 2024 (UTC) reply
Ok got an emal about structure .- info moved around....see what you think..@ Nikkimaria:. Moxy🍁 07:21, 23 March 2024 (UTC) reply
