Considering it's Israel and all it could be worse, but I still can't accept this phrase. "A shared commitment to democratic values, understanding, and mutual respect". Both countries have a horrible colonial history - they were founded on the seizure of others' land and homes, the ethnic cleansing of that land, and the subsequent oppression of the remaining native population. This is not democratic, and it is certainly not mutual respect. -- Jammoe ( talk) 02:43, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
It's mean mutual respect for one another, and and they do both have democratic values. Beside,s that sounds like a phrase taken from one of their foreign affairs websites. I'd consider that phrase more NPOV though then you are though Lemniwinks ( talk) 08:06, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
This entire article is in very bad shape. In the diplomatic relations section I have removed reams of POV (especially lengthy sections offering gratuitous and unsubstantiated personal criticisms of Canadian diplomats as anti-Zionist/pro-Arab, as well as several paras that appear to have been cut and pasted from Conservative Party promotional material), and added a few sourced details, but honestly there is worse elsewhere. It really requires a top-down rewrite adhering rigorously to POV and trying to keep it focused on substance. KremlinDriver94 ( talk) 23:56, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
Well my attempts to improve this article by removing slander and blatant POV was met with a complete reversion within a few hours, along with a message that I am "not allowed to edit here per ARBPIA 30/500". I will assume good faith on the part of the user, /info/en/?search=User:×™× ×™×‘_הורון, but I would be grateful for an explanation as to how to go about fixing an article that is biased, misleading and slanderous. The image File:Coat of arms of Canada.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

I am suggesting that this page become a summary of policies, statements and decisions by Canadian politicians regarding Israel. I created these new paragraphs and will contribute as I can. Feel free to help. Emmanuelm ( talk) 03:06, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Hey @ ×™× ×™×‘ הורון: I noticed that quite a few of your recent edits have been reverting non-extended-confirmed editors; maybe requesting this page to be extended-confirmed protected could help lessen your workload? Hickland ( talk) 00:24, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
