Kindly spell out abbreviations such as HMSO in the refs, not everyone is going to know it means "Her/His Majesties Stationary Office".
Likewise, need a page number for the Walker and Maule refs
What is the Commissary Maule? Do we have an article on this?
Link for Downie Hills?
Just those few things above, and it's good to go. I took the liberty of copyediting as I reviewed.
I've put the article on hold for seven days to allow folks to address the issues I've brought up. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, or here with any concerns, and let me know one of those places when the issues have been addressed. If I may suggest that you strike out, check mark, or otherwise mark the items I've detailed, that will make it possible for me to see what's been addressed, and you can keep track of what's been done and what still needs to be worked on.

Commissary Maule was Robert Maule, a member of the Maule family who held the barony of Panmure. He was Commissary of St Andrews. He is usually refered to in the older literature as Commissary Maule rather than Robert Maule, but this appears to have originated in the Registrum de Panmure as a means to differentiate him from the many other Robert Maules mentioned in it. For the purposes of this article, it is sufficient to state that he was an antiquarian. There will be an article on him eventually, it's on my to-do list.
