According to the lead he died in 1891, according to the body text he was governor until his death 1892, and the succession box has him as governor 1896-2000. At least two of these three statements must be wrong.

As far as I'm aware, the two that are wrong can be easily explained by the fact that he was never Governor-General - just Vice-GG between 1890 and 1891.—Brigade Piron (
