The fact that she is a coloratura soprano. Also, I noticed you removed the official site link for the release date - that's fine, but what is appropriate to link in that instance? Also, I thought the point of citations were to prove facts that could easily be disputed? A release date of an album can hardly be argued against?

Also I was wondering for the editing, do you have a conflict of interest with involvement with either crossover or barlow or the subject of the article? Have a read of this
WP:COI if you it is ok but it is better imo if you declare any connection.

You are more than welcome to add anything you can link to a reliable citation, it should not be self published much or comments that the subject herself has made in interviews, it should be reliable third party independent reports, which we are very short of here. Also please be aware, wikipedia is not a fan site or an advertising agency or a place to link to locations selling the recently released album.

Depends. Crossover music is not an established entity to be affiliated with - it's an alleged genre of music. I have nothing to do with Barlow or Kerslake, unless being fond of the two of them amounts to anything. If you believe crossover to be a concrete thing to affiliated with, I would say 'yes' to your question. I actively "champion" the genre, if you like and try to cement its existence away from classical music. I am more likely to associate singers with crossover music more so than others, but this is because I would call myself an expert on the subject if you like, and I know what crossover entails. If this goes against Wiki poilcies, then I will leave this alone, of course.

I know of no other sources at this time that declares her vocal categorisation, but that's a bit irritating. It is a fact, afterall. But I respect policies, as they are there for a reason, obviously.

reply to previous comment...No, not at all, thank you for your comments, please also take my comments here on board and as I said , look for third party citations that are reporting about her, and not her commenting about herself, as a lot of the content now is cited to herself talking about herself, apart from that I am leaving and will come back in a couple of days to see how the article is progressing, thanks.

Just to clarify - is it not right, then, that her background information be expressed by Kerslake herself in that interview? Because, you know, needing a third party to tell us that Camilla was heard by a teacher and that she made a girl pop group, for example, is complete and utter nonsense? I can understand the vocal issue of her reaching B6, as it's in her interest to sound as vocally varied as possible, but surely her own account of her life before her career can be trusted?

Well that is the thing, that is her talking about herself, we can use it in limited ways but her comments about herself should not be the main source of content. She could say anything she wanted. You are right, when the comments are not really at all controversial it is not a big issue, but we are looking for independent third party citations to use.

You see, I can't get my head round that. I'm not having a go at you - you don't make the rules, but surely her biographical information, before her singing career, has to come from her? An independent third party would have to get that information from her, as, who else can know it but her and her immediate family? Again, not taking issue with her vocal capabilities, as that can be controversial and disputed, but the particulars of her upbringing and coming across music, I think, can logically be trusted, and must be trusted?

I more or less agree with you, just it is preferable when the details are picked up by other reputable sources and not primarily sourced to her comments. Presently it would perhaps if we attribute the comments to her, as in she has said this and she has claimed that..

General notability
At the moment she is clearly not well known, and so there are very limited independent citations around, there is an advertising campaign but we are not here to promote people, it is like the album, it is better added in a couple of months when we can add the album went to number 20 or whatever. What number is the album at in the charts, I also notice barlow has wogan helping to promote the album.

My assumption from that is that she didn't chart - I also just looked. I know they rushed the album out at the last moment because of a successful television appearence over there, but I guess that wasn't enough to chart. Pretty stupid decision made by the label to release something with no promotion, but that's neither here or there. Either way, we have three more days until she has a chart position either way. I know for definite that she reached number one in the iTunes classical chart but I don't think that chart is prominent enough to hold any water here.
