CALLE CIEGA, the venezuelan reggaeton group that started early in 1998 with merengue hip hop, ending its evolution in a mix of dance reggaeton with a unique venezuelan "flow".
The group has five elements: Nacho, El Chino, Luifer, Kent and Emilio. All of them coming from different cities in Venezuela and from other musical proyects.
Their hit single "Mi Cachorrita" has been number one for more than 23 weeks in Venezuela, and for more than 35 in the top 20 of that country's Record Report.
Right now, CALLE CIEGA has started their international attempt to conquer other teritories thanks to the record deal they inked with Prisma Records in Miami.
Their recent visit to Miami in a promotiona; tour, had a very important impact with the media, and they are schedulle to come back in October. Meanwhile they are the king of the shows in Venezuela and the Calle Ciega fever is spreding quickly to Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, where they are the opening act for top Reggaeton stars Daddy Yankee and Queen of Regaeton Ivy Queen.
