I suggested a merge because the shrublands of california are practically exclusive in the article, "Chaparral" which is the term that refers pretty exclusively to the shrublands of California, . Having two seperate articles is redundant. Valley2city 04:21, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
This article combined three different ecoregions defined in the World Wildlife Fund system [1]. As we expand it, we should develop it into three distinct articles. I've updated some incoming links from the nearctic mediterranean forests, woodlands and shrub template to still land here for now. -- Justin 18:48, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
