Spanish Jingle

The Spanish jinle is "Cuide su lavadora, con Calgón", not the one written at the moment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.32.229.82 ( talk) 20:06, 6 April 2011 (UTC) reply

Dates?

I think the entry needs dates for when the commercials aired. OrangeYouGlad 19:27, 8 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Jingle

I think there's a Calgon jingle, but i don't know how it goes. RocketMaster 20:40, 5 October 2006 (UTC) reply

I would like to see, a link or a downloadable version of Calgon adverts. Not sure if this is possible due to copy right issues. orfordarn@hotmail.com

Ancient Chinese Secret, Huh?

The Calgon advertised in the commercial wasn't detergent. It was a water softening agent that you added along with whatever detergent you used. In fact here is what Mrs. Lee says to the audience"

Mrs. Lee: "My husband, some hot shot. Here's his ancient Chinese secret. Calgon. Calgon's two water softeners soften wash waters so detergents clean better, In hardest water, Calgon helps detergents get laundry up to 30% cleaner"

I don't know what you mean by "none of them scan"; my best guess is that you couldn't find them with Google. Anyway, I can confirm that the German wording of the jingle is correct (and found by Google almost 3000 times). 62.152.162.216 ( talk) 07:32, 9 September 2009 (UTC) reply
no, he means that none of them sound right when said aloud.-- UltraMagnus ( talk) 07:54, 9 September 2009 (UTC) reply
Just go to their website - you'll see that various international slogans show up. Dinsdagskind ( talk) 10:53, 9 October 2011 (UTC) reply
The Dutch version scans; the English version doesn't, and when I play it on the Calgon website it sounds really forced, like they squash syllables to fit it to the jingle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.139.87.39 ( talk) 07:03, 24 November 2011 (UTC) reply

Missing weight controversy

Apparently, the referenced source exaggerated a minor packaging error, which was remedied by Reckitt Benckiser at once. See the court documents at Calgon Davasi ve Yeni Gelismeler page by the same source. So I am removing the section completely, since it is not an issue significant enough to make it to the Wikipedia.-- Eleman ( talk) 16:49, 1 December 2010 (UTC) reply

What is the brand name used by Reckitt Benckiser for laundry water softener outside Europe? Clayblockmc ( talk) 16:26, 5 April 2018 (UTC) reply
