Schooner or brigantine?

Scholefield & Howay describe it as a schooner, the BCGNIS site describes it as a brigantine; pending other sources I'll go with S&H as a more authoritative; if brigantine is correct, the title here shoudl be changed; and I have no idea which subcat(s) of Category:Ships this should go in; Category:Ships of the Pacific Northwest I don't think exists; mostly there are only steamboat categories of one kind or another for BC/WA/OR .
