CHUN-TV/NOWTV merger

I'm proposing that the NOWTV article be merged into the CHNU-TV article for the reason that NOWTV was the on air name of only CHNU-TV, it wasn't a brand of a network like Citytv or anything, it was simply just the brand of one station that rebranded to another network. For example, when channel m rebrands to OMNI when Rogers buys it, we won't keep an entire article for "channel m", all that history relates to the station, so it would all go into that stations article. So this all applies to NOWTV and CHNU-TV. MusiMax ( talk) 15:58, 27 February 2008 (UTC) reply

The station in Winnipeg was also NOWTV so I think it shouldn't be merged. RebaFan1996 ( talk) 01:57, 15 June 2009 (UTC) reply

CIIT was never a NOWTV station, it launched as an OMNI station. While the station's license was owned by Trinity, the station didn't launch until it was owned by Rogers. Merge NOWTV to CHNU.  єmarsee Speak up! 22:14, 15 June 2009 (UTC) reply

OMNI Television

Despite being sold to S-VOX, CHNU-TV and CIIT-TV (Winnipeg) seem to keep a close relationship with Rogers and the OMNI system, by having links to and from the other OMNI and rogers sites. It seems they're still OMNI affiliates, if not owned by Rogers. RingtailedFoxTalkContribs 16:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC) reply

That's only a temporary situation until the launch of the fall 2008 TV season, at which time the stations will be rebranded. Bearcat ( talk) 21:08, 23 August 2008 (UTC) reply
