For the most part indirect addressing allowed the program to step through arrays for example one word at a time by increasing the value of the indirect pointer cell. Not much was fast on the 160s. Dave — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.30.142.200 ( talk) 03:11, 7 May 2012 (UTC) reply

"NCR joint-marketed the 160-A under its own name for several years in the 1960s" - the Flamm reference I added mentions this, but doesn't give a model number. He implies that this is not the NCR 315, although the NCR 315 article implies that it is, and the specs are similar. Peter Flass ( talk) 14:42, 10 April 2012 (UTC) reply
