Isn't there an episode where Zurg launches a rocket at Star Command and Buzz flies it back at Zurg to defeat him? This is the last scene used during the beginning theme song/animation. Should this be included? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.125.122.9 ( talk) 21:19, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
"In one episode, one of the character is seen ordering food from Pizza Planet, which appeared as an actual space-themed restaurant in Toy Story." This is listed under "Continuity Problems," the premise presumably being that since the cartoon is an actual cartoon in the Toy Story universe, it is problematic for the same restaurant to appear in both the cartoon and the "real" Toy Story universe. But is that actually an error? I haven't seen the episode, but it seems that there are two possibilities:
I doubt that the writers actually had anything in mind beyond making a reference to the movies, but since there are such simple, realistic explanations possible, I have a hard time seeing it as an error; it's simply an unanswered question. -- Andrusi 19:25, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I don't think that's a continuity error either, though it is an interesting bit of trivia. FrozenPurpleCube 23:58, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
I Belive more Character bio pages as well as technology/gear should be completed for a better more informative data source -- Awar 19:12, 27 April 2007 (UTC).
From what I see, the entire storyline of Buzz Lightyear is similar to Star Wars (especially episodes 4-6). Think of it this way: Buzz= Anakin Skywalker, XR= R2-D2, Mira= Princess Leia, Zurg= Darth Vader, and so on.Even some of the planets and people are similar to Star Wars. Should this be mentioned in the article? (There already are references to Star Wars within the article, might as well sum it up.) Abcw12 07:04, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Image:Starcommand.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I don't suppose the name of the ship would be a reference to The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Arraitchjee ( talk) 16:43, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Guys Toy Story is sort of Supposed to be The Real World only sort of a what if toys came to life whenever we weren't around and Buzz Ligthyear is supposed to take place in the Future so i say we should change it from within the fictional world to just within. Okay? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.7.204.215 ( talk) 03:02, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
As you can see from https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Buzz_Lightyear_of_Star_Command&diff=652693366&oldid=651442511 ,i feel it is important to clarify that the TV show's Buzz is DIFFERENT from the Buzz in the Toy Story movies. One is a Space Ranger; the other is a toy. That's even a major plot point in the first film. The Space Ranger did NOT appear in the films; the toy did. Someone undid that part of my edit, but instead of starting an edit war, i'd like to get some more opinions on the matter. Maybe instead of

The production codes which I found on some wikia site mostly reflect the series chronology with exception of the pilot movie:
So it only needs a reliable source. 94.180.110.23 ( talk) 19:52, 20 March 2020 (UTC)
Should there be a section connecting the new upcoming movie to this TV series? [1]
