Smith's 1959 recording session in Fort Worth was initiated and fully organized by nobody else but Gunther Schuller. Schuller wanted to record many more ballads, but onl got "September Song" from Smith.-- Suessmayr ( talk) 08:20, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
