The "Managing career" section does not say when he started as the manager nor why. What did he do after he retired from playing for the Padres and before he became the Padres' manager? -- Marc Kupper| talk 06:10, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
I have added back the partially deleted section, previously deleted in full. If someone wants to delete it, let's talk it over, in depth, and not indulge in an edit war using dubious tactics. Jus da fax 06:01, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
