A fact from Brother Jonathan (steamer) appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 4 November 2006. The text of the entry was as follows:
Today I was reading this Brother Jonathan article for the first time.
When I clicked on "footnotes" (references) numbered
7 8 9 10 and 11, nothing happened. I don't know how
to fix this, would appreciate it if someone else
can put things right. Thanks.

Was reading this article on 3/28/14. I noticed that it states that The reef the ship slammed into is now known as Jonathan Rock. Which is incorrect.
The vessel hit an uncharted rock at the time of the accident(known now as Jonathan Rock). The reef that the ship hit is St. George Reef where Jonathan Rock
is located and is one of the western most rocks that is close to or breaks the surface of the water. Jonathan Rock is only visible at low tides and is classified as
a wash rock.
The first paragraph is contradictory. It states 244 total passengers and crew, then states 244 p&c lost plus 19 surviving which would give 263 total p&c. — Preceding
