Battle of Tamai #2 square breach :: why?

  • "The square broke and was flooded with a rush of tribesmen" :: it could be that forming that square, not on flat ground but in a rocky desert wadi, was greatly impeded by lack of room to move and steep rocky ground and boulders and spurs of rock, and perhaps also by desert thorn bushes.
