Most of what is written here is not about a broad axe. The flat sided axes are called "side axes" billbeee ( talk) 21:23, 15 October 2009 (UTC) reply

What is "basilled"?

What is a basilled edge, or a basilled side? I have looked in many online dictionaries, none of which knows anything about basil as a verb. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RCopple ( talkcontribs) 00:17, 30 September 2011 (UTC) reply

Wrong type

The item in the "History" section referring to an executioner's weapon is not referring to the woodworking tool. Apparently someone can't read. Deleting the item because it is irrelevant to this article. If someone wants to add it to the Dane Axe article, it will need a source citation. As-is, it's just OR. 12.233.146.130 ( talk) 20:45, 10 October 2011 (UTC) reply
