British Rail Class 70 → British Rail Class 70 (electric) — Need this title for a dab page. These locomotive were electric locomotives, the new ones currently at British Rail Class 70 (Powerhaul) (also subject to a move request) are diesel locomotives. Mjroots ( talk) 17:36, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Result Article moved due to unanimous support for the move. Mjroots ( talk) 07:23, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
I believe that the title of this article should be changed to `Southern Railway?Region CC class electric locomotives as they were designed either by the SR itself or in early BR (SR) days when BR policy on locomotives was not formulated. It would avoid confusion with the (regrettably misclassified) UK Freightliner class 70 diesel locomotives. Barney Bruchstein ( talk) 10:25, 9 April 2011 (UTC)
I agree. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 42.2.89.14 ( talk) 10:17, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
