We don't seem to mention cavalry equipment at all, eg they were armed with a (shorter?) versio of the standard rifle, but did not have bayonets as they were armed with sabre as well. I believe 9th Lancers still had the lance as well, and use dit in at least one charge early in the war. David Underdown ( talk) 11:30, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Does this seem the appropriate place to mention "Convalescent Blues", the British WWI uniform for inured soldiers? Kavius ( talk) 00:46, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

I propose merging 1914 pattern Webbing into British Army uniform and equipment in World_War I#1914 Pattern Leather Equipment. This is a very thin stub with only one webpage reference. Also the 1914 equipment was not made from webbing, so the page title is just plain wrong. Alansplodge ( talk) 12:30, 14 July 2022 (UTC)
