A temporary subpage at User:Polbot/fjc/Brian Edward Sandoval was automatically created by a perl script, based on this article at the Biographical Directory of Federal Judges. The subpage should either be merged into this article, or moved and disambiguated. Polbot ( talk) 20:09, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
This information was merged into the main article on the subject. Justanotherguyonwiki ( talk) 21:30, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Significant citations and edits were made to the main article that should merit removal of the "Article issues" tag on the main article. Unless there is objection in the next 48 hours, I'm going to remove the tag. If you have any objections, please list them below. Justanotherguyonwiki ( talk) 21:34, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Removed the Article issues box seeing that there have been no objections to removing the warning. Justanotherguyonwiki ( talk) 14:02, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
"It wasn't long ago that [Sandoval] said in an interview on Univision that he vehemently supported Arizona's anti-immigrant law. In reference to the same law, he was asked how he would feel if he his children were stopped in the street and asked for their papers. He answered, with a note of pride in his voice, 'my children don't look Hispanic.'" [1]

I'm having trouble understanding Wikipedia's rules for photographs. The photo in this document http://www.nvd.uscourts.gov/Files/DC_Report2006AALL.pdf#page=7&pagemode=none seems to be a work by the U.S. government, meaning that the photo can be used within Wikipedia, but the document says "© 2006 - U.S. District Court. All rights reserved". So I'm not sure whether the photograph can be used within Wikipedia. Can anyone help with this? Justanotherguyonwiki ( talk) 22:03, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
The following section appears to refer to events that happen prior to the subject becoming Governor of Nevada.
Since this section is not about the subject of the article, I am removing it from the main article. VegasBaby1776 ( talk) 05:08, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
There is no substantive mention of the subject in the citation provided. Almost the entire citation discusses issues surrounding events that occurred prior to the subject taking office, or circumstances surrounding Nevada's citizen legislature.
While I preserved this section to allow for future review, this section needs to be immediately removed from the article due to WP:BLPSOURCES and WP:BLPREMOVE issues. VegasBaby1776 ( talk) 05:38, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

The claim that Sandoval is a gun rights advocate needs to have a source (either inline or elsewhere in the article), per WP:verifiability. Please provide a source for support if you want to add this category link. CFredkin ( talk) 17:15, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
This edit changing Sandoval's portrait to a picture with Reid seems completely inappropriate. What's the rationale? CFredkin ( talk) 05:04, 28 August 2014 (UTC)

Bringing this to talk page for attention since this article will likely be flooded by edits in the upcoming days. Recently a large criticism section of this this article was removed by User:Nevadaupdates as "inaccurate representation". [1] I didn't revert for BLP reasons, since I'm not familiar with Sandoval's politics, but this may be part of a whitewashing effort. Them From Space 19:22, 24 February 2016 (UTC)
The section Brian Sandoval#Solar issues is written mainly from the point of view of the rooftop solar owners and industry, corresponding with The Alliance for Solar Choice. The section fails to include views of consumers that owns no solar. Regardless, the section should concentrate on how it is related to Sandoval, and leave the bigger picture to other articles such as Solar issues in Nevada and/or Solar power in Nevada - possibly Net energy metering.
