Two articles, "BJ (jazz artist)" and "BJ (keyboardist)", have been marked with merge templates since June, but have no discussion on either Talk page. Seems obvious to me. Sometimes, merges are hard because there is so much work to do, or because there is disagreement about the notibility of two related topics. Here we have two article about the same person. Clearly a defect. No? I propose to cut, paste, and merge all text of both existing articles into "Brian Jackson (musician)" and redirect both fossils to that new one. Any disagreement?

I just moved "Brian Jackson (jazz artist)" to "Brian Jackson (musician) and then merged in "Brian Jackson (keyboardist)". I did a bit of copyediting and reorganizing, but not much. The article still needs expansion, citations, and further polishing. I hope there are some other fans out there.
