Reviewing for the March 2021 backlog drive. This one has been sitting for quite a while, and I'm happy to help it finally get to GA! Any section marked with a Working tag means that I haven't finished combing through it, but feel free to start making edits as soon as you see them!

Thank you for your patience. However, it became clear partway through reviewing this article that I am going to have to ✗ Fail it, predominantly for reason number five cited here: A reviewer who has not previously reviewed the article determines that any issues from previous GA nominations have not been adequately considered. Daniel Case previously failed the article on the basis of the issues in the footnotes, listing eight main methods of improvement. Out of those:
Apart from that, there's inconsistency as to whether you're linking the name of the paper every time it appears or only once ( The New York Times gets a footnote WL every time, but Entertainment Weekly and Los Angeles Times do not).
Beyond that, there are copious amounts of issues with citations not matching up to the information within, as well as prose issues (including some sentences that are difficult to decipher), information repeated across disparate sections (such as information in the early life being repeated in the martial arts section), and that one doorstopper of a paragraph right in the middle of the article.
You've clearly done a lot of researching to Brandon Lee's life and death, and that should be commended. However, these stylistic issues are pervasive to the article, and quite substantial. I would recommend going to the WP:GOCE, who can do a copy-edit. Make a request, and mention that multiple GAN reviewers have had issues with the citation style, so they know to focus on that. Once the copy-edit is done, you can bring the article back to GAN. Kncny11 (shoot) 18:46, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
