Few comments.
I'm tempted to fail it, but I'll put it on hold instead, since my issues might well be easy to address. --♫ Hurricanehink ( talk) 06:38, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, I'm very glad I didn't fail it! Thank you for your quick work. There are just a few small things I'd like to see clarified a bit more. Then I'll be glad to pass it. --♫ Hurricanehink ( talk) 16:44, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
Was the storm named after the oil tanker? If so, is there a reference?-- ML5 ( talk) 13:17, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
What does the word/name signify?-- Kintetsubuffalo ( talk) 02:24, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
Is there some reason "of January 1993" is necessary? I propose that this article be moved to just Braer Storm since it's not like there are other storms with the same name. Courtesy ping: Thegreatdr. — howcheng { chat} 17:06, 7 January 2020 (UTC)

OK, so we have the wind gusts, but what were the actual wind speeds? 🌀 ☾⊙☈⊙♫ꍏ 🌀22:36, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
As you may have seen, a weather station recorded an 897-mbar pressure on Thurston Island, Antarctica. While yes, this is lower that the Brear Storm, there are two caveats.
So for now, don't change the Braer Storm to the second most intense extratropical cyclone on record. RandomInfinity17 ( talk) 22:01, 17 October 2022 (UTC)
