" Shipping fever" is a synonym/common name for "Bovine respiratory disease", and having its own article is unhelpful, as it does not partition content in a sensible fashion. The Bovine respiratory disease article is larger, more developed, and is under a more formal name, so it makes sense to merge into that article, rather than into the "shipping fever" article.
