A number of statements of this article are based on things published by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty which is considered to be a potentially unreliable source. Some discussions on Wikipedia state that RFD / RL is linked to the US government / CIA. Since there are also media reports that claim that the US government meddled in the re-election of Boris Yeltsin, a US government source like RFE / RL might not be the most reliable one for information on Yeltsin.
