I can't understand what passes for "research" here. Apart from the opening paragraph this is completely a stolen from the ECCP biography cited at the bottom (that isn't a link to an additional source, that is the source for this article). The original text is already available at

which also has a software channel that supplies pinyin romanization. What is the point of this article? It is just duplicating material. You would do the reader a service to supply dates and the link to Hummel, since your article adds nothing.
