I do not consider boleras to be a style of flamenco: as the article suggests. The sources are not reliable in my opinion. The boleras is a style of Spanish dance in the ballet tradition. There are musical influences appearing in flamenco, but that is not the same thing. 2.102.238.211 ( talk) 09:14, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
The book, 'Flamenco' Edited by Claus Schreiner, is written by amateur flamenco enthusiats. The name 'boleras' occurs in a list of 'cantes chicos'. No further reference is given. With zero modern proponents, and with a stretch of the imagination, boleras may have been a style of flamenco fallen into disuse. However, the only reference I find is the dancer Vicente Escudero who added this folk dance to his repertoire. If there is no Spanish article with authoritative sources and foreign sources prove unreliable, I suggest this article be deleted. Alternatively, the article could be ammended and the term 'boleras' disambiguated by someone who knows what they are talking about. It has been three months since I raised the alarm and this article still exists. Likewise, in the styles of flamenco page: 'flamenco jazz' is not a style of flamenco.
