Hello fellow editors,
This has been my first edit on Wikipedia after 15+ years of using the site (hoorah), simply changing "as of 2019:" to "as of 2021:" as it made me feel like the article was dated while reading it. Just had a quick point of interest to bring up if anyone happens to come across this -- would it be helpful to remove the "as of" completely from this article to avoid this being a yearly occurrence?
Currently, Bobo Newsom can only be admitted to the MLB Hall of Fame by the Veterans Committee [1], which is scheduled to meet to discuss Newsom's potential candidacy in December of 2021. [2]
The next time Newsom will be eligible for consideration is 10 years after that, 2031. I recommend removing "as of" entirely, and instead replacing it with an "Update after|2031" inline. Again, this is my first edit, so I apologize for using incorrect syntax and jargon as I'm still just grasping how to do all of these things, but I think it would be a good use case of the "Update After" template.
