I removed the line "His affectionate nickname among South-Siders is "Bad Bobby"." from the article. I live in Chicago, and am an active Sox fans who attends many games each year, including the playoffs last year, and have never heard this nickname before. Hawk Harrelson has refered to him as "Bad Bobby Jenks" on a few occasions.
Hawk almost always refers to Jenks as "Bad Bobby Jenks" or "Big Bad Bobby Jenks" Teemu08 18:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Supposedly, he was in "trouble," from the Yahoo Story I just read. It only mentioned "carousing," but nothing specific. I'm a Sox fan too, and I had never heard anything negative about his past. 135.214.40.68 ( talk) 16:14, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Was he a rookie for the 2006 season? IP in 2005 was below the requirement; but, I'm not sure if he was on the 25-man roster long enough or not. Neier 04:15, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Jenks was perfect from July 17 2007 thru August 12 2007. He made 14 one inning appearances:
