The afterword of an East German edition of her book Chudí Lidé (published as Aus einer kleinen Stadt in 1960 by Gustav Kiepenheuer Verlag in Weimar) agrees with you: It's Pankl, not Pankel. I am correcting this mistake. -- Thüringer ☼ ( talk) 15:49, 29 March 2024 (UTC) reply
