On 11 February 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved from Jaime Reyes to Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes). The result of the discussion was moved. |
Can we return to a pic that shows just Blue Beetle and not a cast of characters? I don't mind that further down, but the focus should be on the character. CovenantD 20:41, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Should this character have the main page, since the only other character with the name is an obscure video game character? -- DrBat 02:51, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, this guy even has his own comic book - Neodammerung 19:28, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
Jaime Reyes (comics) → Jaime Reyes … Rationale: The only other character with the name is an obscure video game character in a 'minor characters' article. -- DrBat 00:39, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Wasn't Jaime Reyes part of El Diablo's supporting cast?
The two computer techies helping Jaime are not Wendy and Marvin from the Teen Titans. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.89.194.175 ( talk) 15:43, 2 January 2007 (UTC).
Like Kryptonian the reach language used by the suit is an easily translated substitution cipher. Would it be appropriate to include a translation key(probably a user made image) as part of the article?-- Marhawkman 10:39, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Is this somehow connected with the Scarab of the Vertigo series with mystical powers? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asfd666 ( talk • contribs) 14:52, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
Shouldn't the part about the Peacemaker committing suicide be changed to something about forceably removing the scarb since he shows up alive and relatively well in Blue Beetle #22?
This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. it has been cited that this blue beetle will be in Batman: Arkham Asylum —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.21.106.232 ( talk) 03:35, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
There is currently an independent section entitled "Teen Titans", which entirely interrupts the overarching narrative regarding The Reach. The Reach storyline is then summarized in another section entitled "Series' End". I propose that the article be overhauled to allow for a seamless character chronology. This would entail removing the section headings mentioned above, in favor of putting the referenced events into their proper location in the overall narrative. 99.140.175.117 ( talk) 06:28, 12 February 2010 (UTC)acespot
The Blue Beetle page lists the Reyes storyline as being volume 7, the opening entry to Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) states it's volume 8, while the collected editions table shows volume 6... Any one know which is the right one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by AlexDante ( talk • contribs) 06:40, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Jaime Reyes → Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) – Per Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(comics)#Character_articles. Blue Beetle is definitely the common name over Jaime Reyes. It's the only alias that he has significantly used. In some of his animated appearances (particularly Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Justice League Action), his secret identity of Jaime is rarely even mentioned.
