I just saw on the Billboard 200 that it's currently at position # 22, so I added it there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.162.37.23 ( talk) 18:49, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Nice! Seems like more people are listening to metal nowadays. Hopefully they're in it for real, not just because this is a rather hyped album. #22 on the Billboard 200 is impressive! Last I checked the charts, this album was somewhere in the 40s, so it's gone up! Festering Rat Corpse ( talk) 14:04, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
I put in the article that the album reached 16 in the united world chart. Its in the billboard page I just couldnt put the link now because the site is down so someone can do it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.58.43.4 ( talk) 23:27, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
You *do* know that if it goes to a higher number on billboard that it is selling less copies, right? You want to be closer to 1, not closer to 200.. 72.72.194.82 ( talk) 22:42, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
"Jeff Waters of Annihilator announced on his tour with Bodom that he will play a solo on the new album, unfortunately this did not happen."
On his tour with Bodom? There was no such tour and is there any source that he really said that? If you can't prove it, then I'm gonna remove this part. Abtreibung ( talk) 16:14, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Seriously, how is this encyclopedic, at all? EVERY album nowadays that is in some way shape of form "anticipated" leaks, even if it is mere days before, or in this case a month before the release. I just don't see how it really belongs on the page. -- Shatterzer0 ( talk) 04:42, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Extreme power metal, pff please.. ¬¬ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.74.71.133 ( talk) 23:45, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
You are all overlooking a very important thing: Wikipedia is not based on the opinion of one person. Edit wars emerge from people just changing a genre simply because they don't think it's one thing or the other. We should just leave extreme power metal there until the album is officially released... because only then will we have a reliable source that will tell us what the genre is. Thanks, Dark Executioner ( talk) 23:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
While I agree with you, Mdsummermsw... It's not like Bodom is gonna go softcore on us or anything like that. They aren't the kind of band that just randomly changes genres. I am planning on working on the article anyway, to improve it and whatnot. If you want to help, please join in. Thanks, Dark Executioner ( talk) 22:54, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- The new album is more thrash than anything, guys. 216.209.117.86 ( talk) 19:12, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Blackened thrash, maybe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.68.111.166 ( talk) 16:25, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Just to let all of you people know, most serious metal bands don't classify themselves anything more specific than "metal" if their status could be debated. It's just a waste of the time of everybody involved to argue about this and really, since Children of Bodom themselves have claimed just to be "metal" and unclassifiable, what's the point? Just go on Google and do a little bit of research, reading some old interviews perhaps, to see what I'm talking about.-- 72.23.147.74 ( talk) 07:26, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
For the majority, it's much thrashier than basic melodic death metal, so it makes sense to have extreme power metal... and speed metal as well as genres. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MetalKommandant ( talk • contribs) 00:28, 16 August 2008 (UTC)
I thought we agreed on extreme power metal. Someone keeps changing this back to just power metal. This is not just your average power metal, the blend of melodeath with thrash, I would say, qualifies as extreme power metal. -MetalKommandant ( talk) 20:22, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, decide it before the music is commercially available. Why didn't I think of that? Of course we should know what the music is before he actually listen to it. It's like a "professional review" or something to that effect. -MetalKommandant ( talk) 07:26, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Does anybody have any proof that the banjo solo is actually played on a banjo? cause its kinda fishy, since Janne (keyboards) could easily have that effect put on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.82.195.251 ( talk) 20:48, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

-I'd also like to say that the bonus track is called "Piilo Raita" and is a cover of "Ghostriders in the Sky". I don't think there are any more tracks unless they're incredibly well hidden. My MP3 ripping software only has 10 tracks. Jmodum90 ( talk) 05:04, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

The song is called "Hellhounds On My Trail" as can be verified by the group's official website at this location. Perhaps the time wasters who couldn't be bothered to buy the album can now stop changing the song name. LuciferMorgan ( talk) 21:00, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

The article gives a good detail of sources and other basic information. ==Weaknesses== The article lacks real world details. The leak, as mentioned on the talk page still, would not be a great thing to put on the article. The aticle needs some citation from reviews too. |
