IMHO this article should be merged with DRFM. Blip enhancement is performed using a DRFM, and DRFM is a more generally used and accepted term than 'blip enhancement'. ekimd 22:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Blip enhancement does not require a DRFM. In the classic sense the technique is accomplished in a straight-through repeater path where the radar energy is amplified and transmitted with no delay. In a DRFM, you can synthesize a radar pulse, in that case it's a false target generation technique.
