Not sure what point of this page is - both the point of having it at all - and the point of having it without, say, Kitty Ussher to name but one. -- Newshound ( talk) 15:08, 24 April 2008 (UTC) reply

I removed the phrase 'Expense Fiddler' from one of the politicians notes column. The issue of their expenses is dealt with on their personal page and in this particular case, no criminal action is proposed, so while one may feel that the claims have been aggressively self interested, describing them as a fiddle is not an Encyclopedia quality of balance. -- DaveLevy ( talk) 13:21, 8 September 2009 (UTC) reply

Two issues - I do think that this page serves a purpose, but I am not sure if it is entirely clear. I remember those elected in 1997 being described as 'Blair Babes' but the list is of all female Labour MPs ... I presume from the photo of Blair with female MPs mentioned in the article. We could do with a copy of that photo for this article though. I also think that the table should be divided into those elected in 1997 and those elected before.

I also know that some MPs deeply disliked the term and it would be worth trying to find a quote to illustrate that it wasn't accepted DewiMR ( talk) 21:03, 7 September 2011 (UTC) reply

"Blair Babe" or "Blair Babes"

In my (non-native) understanding the title should probably be plural. The page itself also generally refers to the term in plural rather than singular, is there any particular reason why the article title singular? Zinderboff( talk) 22:26, 3 July 2024 (UTC) reply

The article appears to be using the plural continuously throughout, except for the name of the page itself. Could it be that the name is drawn from the verbal perspective of what it is to be a Blair Babe, in much the same way Serial killer is not plural? There is also Koizumi Children, however, which is a similar phenomenon but is in plural, but then you would also have to factor into account WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS.Though that said, the English language is not my field of expertise, either.
