Text and/or other creative content from this version of Shakespeare's Globe was copied or moved into Blackfriars Theatre with this edit on 10:18, 15 June 2014. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

This article fails to mention that during the period 1583-84 when Henry Evans was operating under the explicit patronage of the Earl of Oxford with John Lyly as playwright. This is a glaring omission. I do not edit wikipedia pages. I gave up long ago because of the hostility towards credible and relevant facts.
