I created this article based on the German Wikipedia article which uses "Björn":
[1]. Googling articles about Wiik, there seem roughly equal numbers using each spelling. After discovering the alternate spelling, I created a re-direct here from "Bjørn Wiik." But "Bjørn" does look more Norwegian, and Wiik was Norwegian. Anybody feel confident enough about this to swap the spellings on article and re-direct?

I moved the article. Björn is not the Norwegian way to write that name, it supposed to be Bjørn. The German don't have the "Ø" in their alphabet so it's easy for them to make this mistake.

Date of birth?
The year of birth must be wrong, if he earned his doctorate in 1965.

That was vandalism, I've reverted it.
