"He was born in
Wolverhampton to an Irish Protestant family"
Is this correct? I know that coincidences do happen, but this could so easily be confused with
Billy Wright (footballer) who played for
Wolverhampton Wanderers. Please could someone confirm the information about this Wright is right.

Where is the sources and facts? Just saying it happened isn't really proof that it actually did, this statment contradicts the statment on the LVF page that the LVF have only killed catholic civilians and other loyalists, with the exception of on ex-IRA member the night Wright was executed.
Consensus says killed not murdered. One Night In Hackney 303 18:34, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Just as a follow-up to my recent edit in which I removed the claim that the LVF went on ceasefire in May 1997. The ceasfire statement is available here and is clearly dated to May 1998. I just thought I would put that here in case the edit was disputed. Keresaspa ( talk) 15:25, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Mabuska, you can't expect to get away with describing the UVF Mid-Ulster Brigade in such glowing terms as "bold" and "efficient", even with an (obviously biased) source. Please respect NPOV, no matter your personal opinions. And why have you replaced the sourced description of the car bomb incident with an incorrect version? Could anyone upload the image of Billy Wright to Wikimedia Commons without breaking the copyright? It would be used in another language sections of Wikipedia. Mark Ekimov ( talk) 16:46, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
The following is unsourced and appears to be based on person opinion. Suggest this is deleted?
"Owing to his uncompromising stance as an upholder of Ulster loyalism and opposition to the peace process, Wright is a cult hero, icon, and martyr for hardline loyalists. His image adorned murals in loyalist housing estates and many of his devotees have tattoos bearing his likeness. He was also a figure who struck fear into the local Catholic community."
