(The comments below refer to a "revised" top 100 of 1966 which had appeared in the article but no longer does.) 98.149.97.245 ( talk) 20:02, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
The chart that Billboard actually published as its Top 100 of 1966 is radically different from this chart.

I decided to be bold and revise the chart to reflect the actual magazine. Cheemo ( talk) 21:48, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Where is the black-and-white documentation for the claim that Billboard produced a later year-end chart for 1966? On what date was such a later chart made? My contact at Billboard has never known anything about such a later chart. Also, Billboard never made such a chart for any other year. 107.185.97.165 ( talk) 02:15, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
"In later years, Billboard released another list of the top Hot 100 singles of 1966, which included data from the end of the year that had not been included in the compilation of the original list." A Billboard representative just confirmed that the billboardtop100of.com site, which is the source of that claimed later list, is not Billboard sanctioned or owned and cannot verify if it is accurate or not. 107.185.97.165 ( talk) 14:59, 26 June 2019 (UTC)

this chart does not accurately reflect the 1966 Billboard charts. Very obviously missing is The Supremes - 'You Keep Me Hangin' On'. In the other version it is at no.30. Head cardiac ( talk) 12:53, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
