The controversy section of this page is severely anti-FNC. There's no context, something even a Huffington Post article on the controversy gave.
In the article on the Huffington Post, this passage follows the quote that finishes that controversy:
Sammon goes on to say that he stopped thinking the idea was far-fetched when he saw Obama taking action to prop up the ailing American car industry.
