I know a living Owen Biddle who is related to Francis Biddle, Attorney General under FDR and Nuremberg Tribunal judge. He told me that this line of Biddles are not related to the jewelry Biddle family. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.11.139.121 ( talk) 00:44, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Does anyone know if Samuel Biddle, a partner in the Philadelphia jewelery firm Bailey, Banks & Biddle, is related to the Biddle family described here? See [1] for the connection. -- DThomsen8 ( talk) 17:36, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Let me see if an indented family tree would work to show relationships.
Branch of William Biddle, 3rd (1698–1756) and Mary Scull (1709–1790)
Branch of John Biddle (1707–1789) and Sarah Owen (1711–1773):

Moving ones without articles nor citations (first one especially dubious):

Now Melvin E. Biddle article does not assert any connection to this line, and is not in the category. Not from Pennsylvania either.
Christopher Columbkille Biddle makes the assertion in the article and is in the Category, but without any source to back it up. I doubt that article would survive a notability challenge, since the only sources are company web sites and two press releases. Looks like just a vanity self-promotion page.
** Note: this particular Christopher C. Biddle is the grandson of Eric Harbeson Biddle, who appears above in Nowicki's chart, hence the original inclusion on the Biddle Family page for these particular branches.
Peter Biddle asserts a connection and is in the category, but without any source.
John Biddle (yachting cinematographer) seems to given a connection. Will work on that. his article needs to be more encyclopedic instead of promotional, but seems notable.

Would it be too vexatious to include 'Mayflower Madam' Sydney Biddle Barrows as a curio-footnote to this colourful family history? 109.154.27.194 ( talk) 15:49, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
i have removed the name of nicholas biddle, born 1986. it linked to a disambiguation page with 2 n.b's, neither of them him. being an amateur boxer or graduate in architecture 3 years ago do not make one notable.i suspect someone thought this amusing. Toyokuni3 ( talk) 15:03, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
I changed the list of people to the pedigree that W Nowicki made, which is much easier to read,
I kept Peter Biddle since his page asserts he's a descendent of Nicholas Biddle.
I removed the following who don't assert a genealogy on their page:
I removed the following who don't have wikipages and have no known genealogy:
** Note: this particular Christopher C. Biddle is the grandson of Eric Harbeson Biddle, who appears above in Nowicki's chart, hence the original inclusion on the Biddle Family page for these particular branches.
