THIS PHOTGRPAH OF PRIVATE PROPERTY [sic]

Any picture from a public place of something which is in plane view (you can see it with your eyes) is fair game. So a gate house from a public road is fair to shoot so long as you are on public land (e.g. a city street). My understanding is that plain view means that you cannot use a telephoto lens. However, per the tabloids, I gather you can still blow it up which is why all those celeb pictures look grainy. Mundhenk ( talk) 00:34, 8 October 2008 (UTC) reply

I wouldn't worry about those edits, the complaint was unwarranted and the individual seems to have dropped it (I want to believe after they consulted a lawyer who laughed at the notion). -- Bobak ( talk) 14:19, 8 October 2008 (UTC) reply
