A substantial portion of the text in this article is directly copied from [1] - this does not in turn appear to be culled from the usual Catholic Encyclopedia ( [2]) source, so it must have just been loaded in direct from that source. Obviously in need of some work - some of the paragraphs are quite clumsy and the tone old-fashioned - there are also a number of factual errors, which I hope to (slowly) correct.
