Just now it says in the main article that Bennachie has a vitrified fort.
Is there any vitrification on Bennachie? Virtification refers to the melding of stone that is evident in ancient stone structures throughout North East Scotland (notably Dunideer). As far as I know there is no vitrification of the hillfort on Bennachie, although I could be wrong.
If it exists, where is it?
I don't think Bennachie qualifies as a mountian, I'd have thought 3000ft would be the lower limit?
Cheers,

I don't think there's any hard and fast rule on what height a hill has to be before it's considered a mountain, but in Britain it's commonly taken to be 2000ft. Nasty swimmer ( talk) 21:10, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
Isn't "breast" in Gaelic "cioch", rather than "ciche" which means "excrement"? Nasty swimmer ( talk) 21:15, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
